COMEDOR DE MARGARITA MODERN MEXICANO's signature dish "Tacos Emperador," will be revamped with a gorgeous look and volume. Renewal with the grand menu on March 1 (Tue)!

COMEDOR DE MARGARITA MODERN MEXICANO, a modern Mexican restaurant in Yokohama NEWoMAN, will renew its signature menu “Tacos Emperador” and grand menu on March 1 (Tuesday).

COMEDOR DE MARGARITA MODERN MEXICANO” offers Mexican cuisine that is true to the local “style” as well as the taste.

The restaurant’s signature dish, “Tacos Emperador,” is a custom tacos made with a special tortilla and your choice of fillings and toppings. Since the grand opening, the tacos have been served on colorful ceramic plates reminiscent of the sun of Mexico, but for this renewal, the “Emperador,” which means “emperor” in Spanish, is now available with a more powerful appearance to match its name!

The lineup has been changed from the traditional lineup to a modern Mexican ” COMEDOR style”, and the quantity and balance of ingredients has also been changed. The filling and condiments have been upgraded in volume so that you can finish the 8 pieces with a gorgeous taste.

▼Cilantro Lime Chicken
Tender chicken thighs braised with fresh lime, coriander and cumin.
It has a light and refreshing flavor that goes well with all the accompaniments.

▼Beef Picadillo
Beef and vegetables stewed in tomatoes. The rich fat of the beef and the thickness of the potatoes are combined with the deep spiciness of the smoked jalapenos.

▼Crispy Baja Fish
Crispy fried cod fritters covered with original spices. The jalapeño-infused tartar sauce has been enhanced with curry powder and turmeric to broaden its spiciness.
The taste is so addictive to enjoy the sauce by itself.

▼Camarones Picante
This is a soft-shell shrimp with a skin that can be eaten without the hassle of removing the skin. There is no need to peel the skin off, so it is perfect for wrapping in tacos. The shrimp are sauteed in a Mexican chili pepper salsa called ” Arbol” for a spicy taste. The arbol is sauteed in oil until just before it burns, to maximize the flavor of the chili peppers in the shrimp.

The most exciting part of this renewal is the addition of “frijoles”.

Frijoles is a Mexican home-style dish made by grinding cooked beans into a paste, seasoning it with salt, chopped onions and chili peppers, and frying it in oil until all the water is gone.

The beans and spices used vary from family to family, and in Mexico, it is what is called “mother’s cooking.

COMEDOR has used quail beans to make our original frijoles, a unique blend of 15 different spices from not only South America, but also China and India!
The dip is a must-have for Tex-Mex dishes.

▼POLLO ROSTISADO

Roasted chicken marinated with achiote, oregano and garlic, vacuum-cooked at low temperature, then grilled with spicy arbol sauce and orange.
The meat is incredibly moist on the inside and crispy on the surface. Serve it with the refreshingly sour orange-infused sauce.

▼Carta Fata Cochinita Pibil
Spiced braised pork shoulder originating from the Yucatan Peninsula.
The pork shoulder is marinated overnight in spices and fruits, and then braised in achiote to make it tender.
Finally, it is wrapped in cellophane and steamed in the oven.
We cut the cellophane in front of you and wrap it in a tortilla with the aroma of spices rising from the steam.

Steak of Japanese black beef ribs
A salsa sauce made from two kinds of chili peppers is flambéed with balsamic vinegar. The crisp acidity and deep sweetness of the sauce are well combined with the fatty ribs. Serve with roasted tomatoes and garlic.
