Premium gin made with double the botanicals.

Double Botanical lives up to its name, using twice the amount of botanicals compared to the standard edition. This generous infusion creates a deeper, smoother, and more refined flavor profile. Rich and layered, yet delicately balanced—this is a dry gin crafted to premium perfection.

Originally distilled as a limited-edition release in 2020 to celebrate the first anniversary of NUMBER EIGHT DISTILLERY, it quickly gained popularity when served at HUGE restaurants. Due to high demand and repeated requests from guests, it is now occasionally distilled and released in limited quantities (distillation and sales are irregular).

While gin and tonic is typically served with a squeeze of lime, we recommend enjoying this Double Botanical neat—its luxurious character needs no additions.

These botanicals are thoughtfully selected from ingredients regularly used in HUGE restaurants or sourced locally from Kanagawa Prefecture—each with its own story.

▼ Yerba Buena (Cuban Mint)
This is the mint generously used in HUGE's signature mojitos served at our restaurants. While spearmint and peppermint are more commonly known, yerba buena is the traditional choice in Cuba, the birthplace of the mojito. We are particular about using this authentic mint to deliver the true flavor of the cocktail.

▼ Kanagawa Mikan (Mandarin Orange)
These sweet, high-sugar-content mandarins are featured in cocktails and desserts across our restaurants. We work closely with trusted local farmers to incorporate Kanagawa-grown mikans into our botanical selection.

▼ Fresh Hops (Domestic)
Our gin uses fresh domestic hops sourced from the adjoining brewery, NUMBER NINE BREWERY, located within the same facility as our distillery at QUAYS pacific grill. This direct collaboration ensures unparalleled freshness and quality.

▼ Coffee Beans
The beans are roasted at HAMMERHEAD ROASTERY, our in-house coffee roastery also located inside QUAYS pacific grill. The same beans used in our restaurant’s offerings are distilled, ensuring high-quality aroma and flavor in every drop.

▼ Avocado Seeds
Avocado seeds—not the fruit? That’s right. At our five Mexican restaurants, avocados are used in abundance for popular dishes like guacamole. Rather than discarding the pits, we repurpose them as a unique and sustainable botanical in our gin. This reflects our identity as a restaurant-driven distillery, turning food waste into flavor while embracing eco-conscious practices.
