[HUGE 20th Anniversary Whisky] HUGE × KANOSUKE “KANOSUKE Single Malt Pedro Ximénez Cask” Now Available at 11 HUGE Restaurants!

A Special Collaboration: HUGE × KANOSUKE
In celebration of its 20th anniversary, HUGE Co., Ltd. proudly presents a special collaboration with KANOSUKE Distillery, the trailblazing next-generation Japanese whisky brand from Kagoshima. The result is a rare and exclusive release — the HUGE Private Cask: KANOSUKE Single Malt Pedro Ximénez Cask.
This special bottling will be available at eleven HUGE-operated restaurants, including the newly opened Rigo SPANISH ITALIAN and Soba Toyoda at NEWoMan TAKANAWA.

Distilled in 2017 and aged for six years in American oak Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks, this whisky captures the essence of HIOKI, Kagoshima — where the sharp contrast between sea breeze and temperature changes cultivates deep, mellow richness. The result is a spirit layered with dark sweetness reminiscent of black honey and dried fruits.

A deep mahogany color leads to concentrated fruit aromas and hints of Asian spice. On the palate, sweetness and gentle bitterness intertwine, leaving a long, elegant finish — mellow and complex, like the sunset sinking into the sea of HIOKI.

Based in Kagoshima, KANOSUKE Distillery represents the next generation of Japanese whisky. With the concept “MELLOW LAND, MELLOW WHISKY”, the distillery oversees every step — from distillation to maturation — with true craftsmanship.
Founded in 2017 by Yoshitsugu Komasa, the fourth-generation head of Komasa Jyozo, the distillery inherits the pioneering spirit of Kanosuke Komasa, who introduced Japan’s first barrel-aged shochu, Mellowed Kozuru, in 1957. Blessed with the HIOKI region’s unique temperature variations and sea breeze, KANOSUKE produces whiskies of profound mellowness and character.
