Starting Wednesday, July 1, 2026, we are pleased to introduce a new dog-friendly menu—including our "Wanko Soba"—available on our terrace seating!
Few restaurants in Tokyo offer the chance to enjoy Japanese cuisine, soba, and a wide selection of sake and other drinks together with your dog. To coincide with the summer terrace season, we have created a comfortable space where you and your dog can relax together, along with a specially crafted menu designed just for our canine guests.

Wanko's Otoshi [Bonito] — Complimentary / Refill: ¥220 (tax included)

This summer, every dog visiting our terrace will receive a complimentary otoshi (appetizer).

It's made from thick-cut katsuobushi (bonito flakes) from Makurazaki, Kagoshima—the same premium bonito our soba restaurant carefully uses to prepare dashi—finely cut into a size perfect for dogs.

This dish also reflects our commitment to sustainability (SDGs), as it repurposes the thick-cut bonito flakes that would otherwise be discarded after the dashi has been extracted.

Chicken Breast and Broccoli

A simple dish featuring just chicken breast and broccoli—the same toppings used in our "Wanko" Soba and a favorite among dogs.

Made with only boiled chicken breast and broccoli, this dish is a great option for dogs who aren't fond of soba, or for those looking for an extra serving or additional topping.

A simple cube-shaped ice treat made with just goat milk and water.

Its cool, refreshing chill helps keep your dog comfortable even on hot summer days on our terrace.

Guests without dogs are also welcome to fully enjoy our summer soba, light bites, and drinks.

Of course, guests without dogs are equally welcome to enjoy the authentic soba and sake that only "Soba Toyota" can offer.
During weekday lunch hours (11:00 AM–3:00 PM), we offer three seasonal "Hiyakake Soba" (chilled soba in cold broth) dishes.

Enjoy cool, smooth-textured cold soba that helps ease the summer heat, made with the finest domestic soba flour of the season.
