June Coffee Workshops at SOW COFFEE ROASTERS

SOW COFFEE, located on the 4th floor of NEWoMan Takanawa South, will be hosting a series of coffee workshops this June ☕️

Join us for a 「Cupping Seminar」on June 17, a 「Roasting Seminar」 on June 24, and 「Hand Drip Seminars」 on June 19 and June 26. Each workshop is held in a small-group setting, offering an opportunity to learn everything from coffee fundamentals to hands-on techniques.

At the Cupping Seminar, you'll taste around ten different coffees while exploring the unique stories behind each one. During the Roasting Seminar, you'll learn how roasting influences flavor and experience the moment aromas develop using an actual roasting machine. Our popular Hand Drip Seminar will cover brewing theory and practical techniques through guided tastings and hands-on practice.

Whether you're a coffee enthusiast or simply looking to deepen your knowledge, these workshops are a great way to explore the world of specialty coffee.

Instructor: Koichi Terasaki
Capacity: Limited to 10 participants
Fee: ¥1,500 + tax
Join us for a cupping seminar featuring approximately 10 coffees, including several newly introduced selections. Discover the unique stories behind each coffee while exploring their aromas and flavors through guided tasting.
This 90-minute session offers a rare opportunity to experience a wide variety of our coffees in a compact and engaging format.

☕️ Roasting Seminar
Date & Time: June 24, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Instructor: Koichi Terasaki
Capacity: Limited to 4 participants
Fee: ¥5,000 + tax (includes a bag of coffee beans to take home)
Learn how green coffee transforms into the flavors found in your cup. This seminar covers the fundamentals of coffee roasting and the changes that occur throughout the roasting process.Participants will have the opportunity to observe roasting on the same machine used at SOW COFFEE and experience the moment when the coffee's rich aromas begin to develop.

☕️ Hand Drip Coffee Seminar

② June 26, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Capacity: Limited to 6 participants per session
Fee: ¥3,500 + tax per session (includes a bag of coffee beans to take home)
This hands-on seminar focuses on brewing coffee using the HARIO Switch Dripper. Through practical instruction and tasting, you'll learn brewing techniques and the key principles behind a great cup of coffee.Held in a small-group setting, this workshop allows for personalized guidance and interaction. We hope to help make your coffee moments even warmer and more enjoyable.
