Notice Regarding Strengthening of the Board of Directors and Executive Officer Structure

HUGE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yoshihiro Shinkawa), which operates 47 restaurants across Japan and overseas, mainly in Tokyo and Yokohama as well as in Kyoto and Okinawa, is pleased to announce the enhancement of its board and executive leadership structure.

In line with the company’s continued growth through multi-location development of original restaurant brands, we have prioritized improving the quality and agility of decision-making at both the management and frontline levels. As we enter our next phase of growth, it has become increasingly essential to strike a balance between strategic leadership and operational expertise—while maximizing the uniqueness and strength of each brand and location.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Yasushi Maehara as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), alongside a strengthened leadership structure. Takaya Ishizaki has been appointed as Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO), while Jun Takishima assumes the role of Director and Executive Chef. Yusuke Kanan has been appointed as Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Ayu Akiyama as Executive Officer and Chief Creative Officer (CCO).

These appointments reflect our continued commitment to enhancing both the strategic and operational capabilities of our organization, as we enter a new phase of growth and evolution.

In addition, we have newly established an executive structure overseeing the key areas of Food, Service, and Beverage to further strengthen expertise and cross-functional collaboration within each specialized domain.

This organizational reinforcement is designed to strengthen the connection between strategic direction and on-site operations. Furthermore, HUGE has entered into a definitive agreement for a strategic capital partnership with L Catterton, one of the world’s largest consumer-focused private equity firms. Through this collaboration, we are combining L Catterton’s global insights with HUGE’s on-the-ground excellence and brand-building expertise to accelerate domestic growth and pursue global expansion. The current leadership team will continue to play a central role in company management.
