Doug Margerum is a former sommelier and chef.
In 1994, his restaurant, Wine Cask, won Wine Spectator's Grand Award, making it one of the restaurants with the world's most outstanding wine lists.
In 2007, the wine he made as a hobby while running the restaurant became so popular that he decided to sell Wine Cask and focus on running his winery. He continues to create unique wines, crafted with a unique philosophy.
