The name “CAGE” carries a message woven from the elements that shaped the brand: C = Cape (the land of South Africa) / A = Adi (his mentor) / G = Gift (nature’s blessings) / E = Earth (the planet itself). These letters reflect Sato’s unwavering commitment to engaging deeply and honestly with wine—walking the vineyards, listening to the climate and soil, and capturing the raw vitality of the land in every bottle.

The lineup features a Grenache (red) and a Chenin Blanc (white), each expressing the character of Swartland with purity and intention. Both wines have earned high acclaim locally, receiving 4 stars for two consecutive years from South Africa’s leading wine authority, Platter’s Wine Guide.
