The 7th edition of il club EDONISTA is coming up soon!

Naoyuki Kojima, Dazzle’s Executive Chef will present special course with selected foods for this event.

To pair with dishes, our corporate sommelier Hiroshi Ishida selects wines from all over the world, as well as the cocktails created by the chief bartender Toshihiro Fukami.

What is the name of this event, “il club EDONISTA”, a feast for the gourmet!

This time, we would like to introduce Domaine KOSEI, which is owned by the Japanese wine legend, Mr. Kosei Ajimura.

Domaine KOSEI is located in Kataoka, a hot new vineyard in Shiojiri and one of the best Merlot growing areas in Japan.

 

HUGE has selected two barrels from the 2020 vintage to create an original premium wine, which is limited to only 276 bottles in the world.

Corporate Sommelier Hiroshi Ishida and HUGE’s Wine Buyer Tetsuya Hashimoto have selected the two barrels for the “2020 Kataoka Merlot Private Barrel”.

And our President Yoshihiro Shinkawa has blended the wine together with Hiroshi Ishida and Mr. Ajimura to create this “one and only” wine.

 

The event will be held as a launch reception of “Kataoka Merlot Private Barrel 2020”.

 

The Kataoka Merlot, unveiled for the first time on the day, has a velvet-like texture with rich harmony and a pure sensation of the character of highly mature and extremely high quality Merlot.

 

The chef, Naoyuki Kojima, will present 7 exciting dishes full-course dinner with specialized ingredients from Shinshu, Nagano, such as Shinshu beef, Shinshu salmon, Shinshu golden chicken, Shinshu buckwheat flour, Shinano gold, and other specialties.

 

You can enjoy the wine pairing with the limited course for this night only.

In addition, you will be able to purchase the released wines before anyone else!
